In order to reinforce our analytical capabilities, a second XRPD and a second DVS will arrive in our laboratories in June 2023. X-Ray Powder Diffraction is the main technique for characterization of pharmaceutical solids (raw material or formulation control, crystallinity or amorphous content measurements, desolvation or polymorphic transition monitoring). On its side, Dynamic Vapor Sorption allows to monitor sample mass variation vs. Relative Humidity (RH); enabling accurate depiction of hydrate stoichiometry and stability, hygroscopicity and drying conditions. Moreover, new laminar flow hoods will be installed in order to respond even better to the demand for analytical work on toxic samples (OEL: 50 ng/m3).
