Chiral Quest (www.chiralquest.com) is a leading Chinese CMO founded in 2000 with expertise in asymmetric hydrogenation, multi-step synthesis, process R&D and cryogenic reactions.

Following a merger in 2020 with Pengxu PharmaTech we opened new headquarters and an international standard state-of-the-art R&D centre. Located in Suzhou this has over 150 chemists with a focus on innovation and development of new API routes – with currently over 200 patent applications and 78 granted patents.

Our commercial scale manufacture facility is located in the Jiangxi Province and has over 600 employees, 40 QC & 20 QA. The manufacturing site has over 300 reaction vessels with a capacity of over 850,000 L. This includes 22 pressure vessels for asymmetric hydrogenation (52,000L capacity) and 13 cryogenic vessels allowing production from 100’s kg to metric ton quantities.

Chiral Quest offers flexible, state-of-the-art commercial manufacture (to GMP if required) and has successfully developed and scaled up multiple processes for API intermediates, up to n-1.
