Chiral Quest (www.chiralquest.com) is a leading Chinese CMO founded in 2000 with expertise in asymmetric hydrogenation, multi-step synthesis, process R&D and cryogenic reactions.

Following a merger in 2020 with Pengxu PharmaTech we opened new headquarters and an international standard state-of-the-art R&D centre. Located in Suzhou this has over 120 chemists with a focus on innovation and development of new API routes – with currently over 200 patent applications and 78 granted patents.

Our commercial scale manufacture facility is located in the Jiangxi Province and has over 420 employees, 40 QC & 20 QA. The manufacturing site has over 300 reaction vessels with a capacity of over 550,000L. This includes 12 pressure vessels for asymmetric hydrogenation and 10 cryogenic vessels allowing production from 100’s kg to metric ton quantities.

Chiral Quest offers flexible, state-of-the-art commercial manufacture (to GMP if required) and has successfully developed and scaled up multiple processes for API intermediates, up to n-1.
