I am French, born in Normandy in 1977.

I hold a master's degree in organic chemistry (1999) and defended my PhD thesis in physics, thermodynamics of heterogeneous equilibria applied to crystallization of small molecules, in 2004. Under contract with a dozen of pharma company during this period, I founded Holodiag right after my PhD. And as everyone knows (I hope so !) Holodiag is a CRO dedicated to solid state and crystallization of small molecules since 2006.

Presentation Title: Where are the polymorph reference samples ?

Abstract: Identification of crystal form of the API is an important and required step in pharmaceutical development.

Analytical method development and validation (e.g. XRPD) require reference samples of the target crystal form and also of the other undesired crystal forms.

Access to such samples is a critical step.

In this presentation we will discuss how to produce and qualify such reference samples.
