Abstract: Limited aqueous solubility of an API may manifest in reduced exposure during PK-tox. and DRF studies. Therefore, having access to technologies and the expertise to design and screen solubility enhancing technologies for an API may be advantageous. This presentation aims to introduce the audience to the importance of improving and maintaining aqueous drug solubility, how to devise formulation strategies for an API exhibiting challenging aqueous solubility, Almac’s technologies to improve API solubility for PK-tox. and DRF studies, and Almac’s road to GMP for such solubility enabling technologies.
