Presentation Title: The Spinout Journey from Drug Repurposing to Clinical Trials for Diagnosing and Treating Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract: Alzheimer’s disease is a fatal illness that causes progressive decline of brain function and represents 60-80% of dementia cases, affecting 45 million people worldwide. In his presentation at BOS Manchester 2023, Dr. Farid Khan will talk about PharmaKure's exciting journey to identify a new blood based diagnostic for early stage Alzheimer's using a combination of biomarkers and AI. Importantly, this will allow identification of patients for treatment using repurposed drugs targeting B-amyloid.
